Kotono huyu junen awanu tomono tsuya

Winter ancient city.

Wake of friend ten years don't meet.

"Natural labor movement"

Wake of friend advocated in ancient city.

I joined the wake of Mr Sato Yoshio in Uji City.

He died on Nov 25th, 78 years old .

He was a big superior to me, so it is difficult to call him "my friend".

Many times he joined my sit-in.

Over ten years ago he moved to Uji City in Kyoto and his physical condition become worse.

I had been thinking to go and meet him but finally I couldn't.

Bousanwa keitai enka no houji kana

Buddhist ceremony.

Monk' cell phone sings Enka.

Today in my house there was a Buddhist ceremony " Covering statue with cotton".

Before reading the sutra, the monk said he would turn of his cell phone because recently the phones melody, children's song, went off when he was chanting the Sutra.

"Children's song" is more fun, but they can't be contained in Japanese so I changed to Enka, Japanese traditional romance song.

Winter wind.

Although I never give up losing battles.

I made this after lost at High court on 11.22, 15th losing.

"Kogarashi" or Tree wither" is name of cold winter wind.

Guard men Tanaka ni agetai ochugen

Guard men wont to give summer gift to Tanaka.

Oki hire over 20 Guard men for stock holders meeting against Tanaka every year.

I have given them job.

In the party, after the stock holders meeting struggling, Maree asked me to make a Haike about the stock holders meeting, but I refused because it has no emotion.

But she insisted so I made this.

Every year I grab the guardmans legs to stop being kicked out, so I smell their socks.

Rittou wo sugite hinata ha mon no naka

Past the "Beginning of winter" sunshine moved to inside the gate

In this season Keyaki trees, zelkova, lost their leaves.

But sun shine reach to the place guard men standing but I' standing.

After falling of Keyeki leaves shadow of Keio line bridge cover the place I'm standing.

I have to prepare for cold.

A hometown song was left by him

Grandsons take memorial pictures

My uncle died at 87 years of age.

He was a celebrity in the country town, Yabe in Kumamoto prefecture.

I think he enjoyed his life enough.

When he wrote a poem "Nostalgia of Yabe" I put a melody that poem and made CD 3 years ago.

The wake was done at the funeral hall of Yabe town.

I felt that funeral ceremonies give relatives an opportunity to meet and make the relationships strong

Tsugai tobu tonbo wa shiawase sou da naa

Two dragonflies fly joining together, look happy

I wrote this when I was watching TV of dragonfly's spawning.

Nureochiba iro toridori ni jikoshuchou

Wet fallen leaves make self assertions in many colors.

In front of the gate is an avenue of Keyaki, zelkova.

The leaves mix with the cherry tree leaves from the neighboring elementary school.

In Japan "Nureochima" or "wet fallen leave" mean disturbing old husband for wife who stay home with doing noting.

Every date of death, in buddism it's monthly, I pray for my father.

My father died when I was 7, he was 48.

His age never change. Now I'm 56 I feel he was young.

I worry about mother in hometown.

Even her 7 years funeral ceremony was past

Typhoon No 18 hit my home town Kyushu.

The dream in Bon

I forget the souvenir for my passed mother

Bon is a Buddhist time when people pray for their ancestors. Many people go back to their home towns, taking souvenirs.

Cherry trees of Oki's neighboring elementary school. are blooming beautiful but.

An old leaf endures at the top of tree

When I was going back from in front of the gate I found a leaf in my motorbike basket.

I looked up and saw a few leaves remaining on the Keyaki avenue.

"Daikan"or "big cold" is one of the 24 season name.
