車の通過音が思いのほか大きい。電車通過時社宅前75dbぐらいだがトラックやバイク通過は80dbを超えることもある。車がいないと50dbぐらい。スピーカのしゃべりを入り切りしてもそのことの音量の変化は車による変化より小さすぎて読み取れない。したがってこの間の110番苦情は社宅からのものとは考え辛い。動画はスピーカーレベル4と言っているが6の間違い。いつもこのレベル。

世界が多くの感染症に苦しんでいることも知って欲しい
國井修氏（世界エイズ・結核・マラリア対策基金）.インタビューズ（2020年4月17日）.
新型コロナウイルスのパンデミックは地球規模で拡大している。
4月17日現在、感染は世界185か国に広がり、感染者の数も216万人、死者は14万5,000人にのぼる。
これまで発展途上国の感染症対策に取り組んできた医師の國井修氏は、新型コロナウイルスのアフリカや他の発展途上国での感染拡大を危惧する。すでにアフリカの52か国で感染が報告され死者も出ているが、検査体制も不十分で医療も脆弱なため、実態は掴めていない。今後スラムのような人口密集地で感染が拡大すれば、大変な被害が予想されるが、その一方でロックダウンなどが強行されれば、水や食料へのアクセスが確保されていないような地域では、衛生環境の悪化が新型コロナウイルス以上に命に対する脅威となることが懸念される。
今週、アメリカのトランプ大統領が中国偏重を理由にWHOへの資金拠出の中止を発表し物議を醸しているが、国際協力に取り組んできた國井氏は、感染症対策は一国がどれだけ有効な対策を打っても、他国から感染者が流入してしまえば意味がないことを指摘した上で、国際協力が不可欠であることを強調する。
國井氏は世界エイズ・結核・マラリア対策基金（通称グローバルファンド）の戦略・投資・効果局長として、三大感染症と言われるエイズ、結核、マラリアの対策に当たってきたが、年間100万人を超えるこうした感染症に対する薬や医療物資なども、新型コロナの蔓延により今、様々な制限がかかり、入手が難しくなっているという。
確かに新型コロナウイルスの世界的な蔓延は深刻だし、感染拡大が始まってから半年足らずで死者が14万人に及ぶこの感染症を人類は全力で食い止めなければならないことは言うまでもない。しかし、その一方で、地球上には毎年2億人が感染し40万人の命を奪っているマラリアや、毎年1,000万人が感染し130万人が死亡している結核のような感染症が今も厳然と存在する。その多くは主に発展途上国を舞台とするもののため、先進国に住むわれわれはこれまであまり関心を払ってこなかったが、今回世界中が新型コロナウイルス感染症に見舞われ、先進国に住むわれわれも感染症の脅威を目の当たりにしたことで、世界には今も多くの感染症が存在することを知る機会にして欲しい、と國井氏は語る。
途上国の感染症対策に携わってきたジュネーブ在住の國井氏に、ジャーナリストの神保哲生と迫田朋子がインタビューした。
